Full Journal pdf2024-04-17 House Journal Page 2327 HB 50 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 15 calendar (page 2307), was read the third time: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 50(FIN) "An Act relating to carbon storage on state land; relating to the powers and duties of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission; relating to carbon storage exploration licenses; relating to carbon storage leases; relating to carbon storage operator permits; relating to enhanced oil or gas recovery; relating to long-term monitoring and maintenance of storage facilities; relating to carbon oxide sequestration tax credits; relating to the duties of the Department of Natural Resources; relating to carbon dioxide pipelines; and providing for an effective date." 2024-04-17 House Journal Page 2328 The question being: "Shall CSHB 50(FIN) pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 50(FIN) Third Reading Final Passage YEAS: 32 NAYS: 8 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Allard, Armstrong, Baker, Carpenter, Coulombe, Cronk, Dibert, Edgmon, Fields, Foster, Galvin, Groh, Himschoot, C.Johnson, D.Johnson, McCabe, McCormick, McKay, Ortiz, Prax, Rauscher, Ruffridge, Saddler, Schrage, Shaw, Stapp, Story, Stutes, Sumner, Tomaszewski, Vance, Wright Nays: Carrick, Eastman, Gray, Hannan, Josephson, Mears, Mina, Tilton And so, CSHB 50(FIN) passed the House. Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Saddler gave notice of reconsideration of the vote on CSHB 50(FIN). HB 50 Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that reconsideration of CSHB 50(FIN) be taken up on the same day. Representative Eastman objected. The question being: "Shall reconsideration of CSHB 50(FIN) be taken up on the same day?"
